Minus 8°C (-16°C with wind chill factor). We expect 20 cm. of snow this week end. Montréal is my paradise island. ;-)

Downside: I am seeing a slight drop in site traffic, I think that it is mainly weather related.

I think every other country in the world has people who can deal with weather, except Britain; here we have never managed to acclimatise to our own weather simply because its so goddamn sporadic and random.
Which is terrible, because it means that come summer, we moan if it rains, and we moan if its too hot, and we moan if its dull, and if its too bright.

We're a silly people.

Cornwall I think that starts:

"In Bangkok at 12 o'clock they foam at the mouth and run....."

Surprising number of us here in Thailand! Just to confirm, it's hot in Bangkok as well.

You are correct. But Noel Coward didn't stop at Bangkok

"Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun.
The toughest Burmese bandit can never understand it.
In Rangoon the heat of noon is just what the natives shun,
They put their Scotch or Rye down, and lie down.
In a jungle town where the sun beats down to the rage of man and beast
The English garb of the English sahib merely gets a bit more creased.
In Bangkok at twelve o'clock they foam at the mouth and run,
But mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun."

....but went on to list all the places that sparked the English desire for a warm midday. This is the whole song [esl-lounge.com]

Are we in England?

I just came back from a meeting, I had to go out of the office.

D*NM, we're supposed to be in APRIL!

What is this sun hitting my head? I'm not use to it. I came to england because I don't like the heat too much (makes me crazy and easilly irritable :)) and now I've got to use ice to keep me cool.

Anyway well done Enlgish weather!;)
