That journo is probably still trying to work out the rules of Mornington Crescent!
Returning to the OP it is obvious to anybody with a brain cell count in double figures that they wouldn't do that to genuine restaurant customers.

Most of the comedy talk/quiz shows are scripted to some extent then highly edited before screening.
Top Gear used to be entertaining about 15 series ago, but now it is just a boring, formulaic, pretend p***ing contest between a few ageing men who appear to be desperate to regain the anarchic freedom of their youth by destroying vehicles on a regular and predictable basis.
