Reminds me of an old Simpsons gag where Marge read aloud a letter from Bart's school, and near the end read out that 'by reading this letter aloud you waive any right to sue', or something like that.

And I think I've just violated the rules by quoting them without permission.

But if you hacked their site and changed their ToU to make it okay to quote them without permission, then technically you'd be okay. :)
