Mars Astronauts Needed

Mars One, a nonprofit organization based in the Netherlands, intends to establish a human settlement on Mars in 2023. They need astronauts. Anyone on planet Earth can apply if they meet the basic requirements. But obviously, the job isn’t for just anyone.

Oddly, as an avid science fiction reader, I have been always quite happy to go a long way in space and not come back, a 'for the common good thing' thing.
But a 2022 launch date ...um 9 years time well still possible I suppose, although the wheel chair may be an extra weight.... as long as I get to take my David Bowie CD's
