Sky News...24/7 TV coverage of what's going on at the moment. They're online too.

I've just had a look at Sky News and there is a lot of detail there, but usually CNN is a bit quicker on the breaking news.

I am at the BBC site every 20 to 30 mins or so and there are always new headlines, they update the news section the quickest I have seen against any other site. IMO :)

Much thanks for BBC News recommendation, had not visited before. Wow, it's got news, readable news, without having to wade past skyscrapers and such. Crisp presentation, easy to find relevant links and overall good BBC writing. My new favorite.

Current US broadcast nets coverage: CBS with Dr Phil, ABC with something called Wayne Brady show; only NBC with extended Today Show news reporting, though somewhat soft

Can I also recommend world-newspapers.com.

It has to have the most newspaper related web sites I have ever seen.

If you are interested especially in the news on Iraq the best is to do what I have and that is simply to turn on the TV onto BBC World and listen to it while you work.

NewsSeer was my favorite until they went on hiatus. You could view various headlines within minutes after they were posted on multiple news sites. Not sure was is going to happen with them now.
