We are are planning to go to New York after the PubCon in Boston in April. Staying there for 4 days. We have never been to New York before and want to make the most out of it while we are there. Could you please help us out by pointing us to a site that is packed with information about where to dine and wine and also different kind of entertainment?

The New Yorker magazine is a valuable resource for things to do; be it museum shows, broadway shows, restaurants, or musical performances. If you can't purchase a copy, you can read a version online [newyorker.com].

Hogs and Hefers is an interesting bar. You can usually get Broadway tickets for up to about 75% off the day of the show near Times Square. There's usually something interesting going on as MSG.
