Apple ID Code Leak Sourced

A digital publishing firm has said it believed it was the source of Apple device ID codes posted to the internet.

Hackers who identified themselves as being part of the Antisec movement published more than one million unique device identifiers (UDID) last week.

They claimed the material had come from a laptop belonging to an FBI officer - something the agency denied.

Murphy's Law...ignore the original news story for many days while the dust is settling, then finally make mention of it in another post ( [webmasterworld.com...] ) and the real source comes out the next day, sigh. Apologies to the FBI (this time). But it doesn't mean that they couldn't have downloaded the same info dump even if they were not the source of it.
