Burger King was another place that was doing that a few years back but I dont know if they succeeded. I haven't seen any out here in SoCal ;)

Can Starbucks be far behind?... seriously. Wherever you pass a Starbucks around here, half the people in the place are using laptops.

Starbucks does have WiFi, its offered by T-Mobile and they call them hot spots [t-mobile.com]

I read an article in Forbes magazine the other day (as you do) that suggested a UK entrepreneur (the Greek fella who owns EasyJet) was in the final stages of securing rights to host his existing internet cafe's in a number of McD's stores in the UK. He has also trialled a BK outlet apparently.

He's also gone so far as to try to get rights to do the same in the U.S.

Just think how yummy those keyboards will look after a dozen or so greasy fingers have been typing away at them. Shake the keyboard upside down for a few seconds and you might just have enough for a free Big Mac.
