We don't have a Felicitous Juxtapositions thread, but I loved this pairing in today's Recent Posts list:

>>whats the time

10.85 @133.3

That's my best ET, but my best trap speed is 134.8.

I really like to hear myself shift. Don't really notice it while making the pass. :)

i always considered 11 @ 130 to be the dividing line between fast and really fast.

do you know what your reaction time was?
and do you have any traction control?

A nearly two ton daily driver driven by a 61 year old with diminished reflexes. I'm lucky to fit in the really fast category. :)

R/T .500
60' was 1.784
Traction control on my car is crude, does NOT help launch and otherwise slows me down at the track so I turn it off.

My built engine will actually handle 1000 hp. Right now I'm not in the mood to spend the money to get there.

On another note, I recently bought some Steeda Spyder wheels and wrapped 'em in some Toyo R888s. I posted pix in a GT500 forum, someone from Steeda saw them and wanted to use some on one of their product pages:

The 3 pix of the black Shelby are of my car. They didn't even photoshop out the messy garage. :)
