I never saw the appeal to Lego's, not even as a kid.

Fun to play with for a bit but seriously, this is nuts.

A lot of people don't play with them, they just build something as a display. It's like anything else you would display in a house, of which there are many things.

You would not be a fun person to be around if anything you didn't understand is deemed "nuts".

There's a big difference between not understanding something and not getting the appeal of it, I understand it, but if I'm dropping big coin on Star Wars toys it wouldn't be made out of Legos, it would be a more life-like model.

However, dropping $100 on a big box of paintballs and shooting the crap out of my friends and total strangers, now THAT's fun!

If you could shoot them with Legos...

I hope we're not missing the absurdity of the TECH SOURCE (cnet) posting rah rah news regarding a kid's toy FOR ADULTS at a price that will purchase a really nifty keen LAPTOP or one IPAD. But do raz tangor for reading (today's run on cnet) that article and not seeing it was recycled/inserted from jun 2011, thus the joke (intended) unfortunately is on me.

Meanwhile, I do have an interest in Lego... not for myself, but for a member in my band (name withheld, no self-promotion allowed, but we are REALLY good) who has a 13 year old son running through dad's disposable income on a routine basis for the next/best/biggest Lego.

And he (the kid) always finds that on the web. Thus brings us back to FOO...
