Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim has once again come top of Forbes magazine's annual list of the world's richest billionaires.
The magazine estimates that Mr Slim, whose business interests range from telecommunications to construction, is worth $69bn (£44bn).
He is followed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates on $61bn, and US investor Warren Buffett on $44bn.

Idle query: How much did the Gates Foundation have to give away to get bumped out of the #1 spot?
Marshall, my father used to tell people he was working on his second million ... having given up on the first :(
Come to think of it... What's the difference between a rich billionaire and a garden-variety rich person? Or do they have a separate list for rich trillionaires? Do yen count?

LOL
I'm having the same success.
>my father used to tell people he was working on his second million ... having given up on the first
LOL
It reminds me of the saying of a UK TV show, Only Fools and Horses, where the character of Del Boy used to say to his younger brother, "This time next year we'll be millionaires!"
