Heads Up Apple iPad Fanboys [bbc.co.uk]
Apple has announced an event on 7 March at which the company is expected to launch its latest iPad tablet.

Invites sent to journalists read: "We have something you really have to see. And touch."

While not officially confirming the product's launch, the message was accompanied by an image showing what looked to be an iPad touchscreen.

Your next Apple fix is due on March 7.

How good can the new iPad be, compared to iPad 2? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Lots of rumours saying it has a smaller screen at 7 or 8 inches.

iPad Mini anyone?

They have to do something radical, otherwise it's a iPad 2a

A smaller iPad would certainly liven up the space, and still drive sales of iPad 2

All they have to do is cut the current iPad price in half and we'd all have one.

Maybe not even half, just knock $150-$200 off the top.

Until then, my Nook tablet is just fine ;)

and it will probably be another screen on the back of the device, where 2 people could play "angry birds" at the same time on the same device, code name IPad2Too...

I'm such a tablet junky now I can hardly wait to see what's coming.

Creating a local game playing wifi network would be pretty cool, esp. if it was open platform for any device with the same game could join easily in.
