The popularity of collectable figurines may have declined from the golden years of Star Wars statues and Hulk Hogan toys, but when it comes to Apple fanboys, replica models of the late Steve Jobs are sure to be a hot property.
While Apple has been a stickler in the past over the production of such models, Chinese company InIcons is having another crack of the whip with a 12in Jobs poseable figure, set to go on sale in February.
Are they freak'n kidding me, not that I'm interested in buying one. Got to love the wrists.

I'm sure there's a graven image joke in there somewhere. Sheesh.

It would be great if it could stick to your dashboard and the hands could hold your iphone securely.
I would buy one.
However if it is just sold as a dolly then I can't see anyone but the most rabid apple enthusiasts going for it. Perhaps they will (like barbie) have a range of appropriate accessories - top seller would have to be a coffin.
The makers of an action figure with an uncanny resemblance to the late Apple founder Steve Jobs are reportedly being 'threatened with legal action' by the computing giant.
Why am I not surprised by the threat!

It appears that Apple's threatened lawsuit against the Chinese manufacturer of a Steve Jobs action figure may be baseless. At least in the US. At least in most states. [theregister.co.uk...]
