How many here have either a criminal record, or have had similiar brushes with the law?

Nah, I like sleeper luxury cars - my car was a Buick but didn't look like a muscle car
However, it hauled.
Once I was about 1/4 mile away from my parents place of business and I punched it pulling out on the road and the engine actually blew the muffler right off the car. My Mom saw me coming and heard it, it was so loud she thought the car blew up LOL!

I wonder, if we ALL woke up one day with a criminal record for every law-breaking act we performed, whether we'd be a bit more forgiving, less impressed with politicos who run on little more than their records of "crime fighting" (criminalizing the latest variation on the same crime), etc.
There but for the grace of "no cop around", i.e., not getting caught, go a large cast of characters, some far more sanctimonious and deserving of a comeuppance than others. I've had a few youthful "what was I (not) thinking" moments and do my best to remember them before passing hasty judgment on anyone else's fall from "good person" status.

Being in the Israeli IDF military prison 3 times counts? 7 days, 12 days and 28 days. It was more like a vacation as compared to the IDF army training..
