Damn, in on day. FB might be on to something that not even the cloning clowns of Google might be able to copy.

I use it but to mostly see what's up with family around the world.

That's quite impressive their system can cope with the numbers!

It doesn't say what day that was, but it'd be interesting to know so I can find out if I was one of those, or not.

I think it's even more impressive since users there typically do a lot more than one thing, not search and leave, or read a story for 4 minutes straight. Alexa has them doing 13 pageviews a visit (more or less).

Would FB lie? It seems like a crazy number to me

With an estimate 750 million members, that figure is really not as impossible as it sounds. Only two thirds of its members have to logon in one day. The fact their servers can handle it is the more impressive fact.
