Why is it that spammers don't have the sense to try to attract your attention by using something original? Why do they have to announce who they are by opening with lines like this?

Just be grateful that most spam is pretty easy to spot. The ones that annoy me are the ones that just say "Hi". I have to check them as I am in the music business and a significant minority of genuine messages start with that as the title.

Almost all the messages I send start... Hi..( but not in the title :)..'sides which, that greeting always begs the response "wish I was" ..
Those in the music business may remember a song in which that interchange featured ...

:( Youse guys are obviously getting a better class of spam than I do. Most of mine are still trying to sell me v### or c###, though what I am supposed to do with them is not made entirely clear. Sometimes I even get the hoary old "The information you requested."
