nope
used in buildings - I'd imagine the military has some (they have one fo everything don't they? :)). If they do tho it's not a weapon or part of one.

Can see smaller coaxial connector in the middle....
sensor - it has one in it
dial is used for setting the operating level for what this thing does (sorry - can't be more specific - it'll give it away too soon)
I was thinking it was a grease zerk...
Maybe an air bleeder valve, but I don't think it's a grease fitting....
Looks like somekind of thumb wheel there..
