For my next web project I need a name for a cow and a chicken. And I'm not even joking.

For the cow, I was thinking impatient cow. but I'm not sure if everyone would get that one.

Any suggestions.

Cow:
Mrs. Tyson - she's a widow who lost her bull to the U.S. meat producing company.

Kobi - maybe cow is Japanese and has some Ninja or Samuri alter-ego..

"The Colonel & Mrs. Tyson"

"Kobi & The Colonel"

... changing subject to cow and chicken jokes:

Q: What do you call a cow with no legs?
A: Ground beef.

Q: Why did the Punk Rocker cross the road?
A: Because he had a chicken stapled to his face.

Actually we named our two cows T-Bone and Rib-Eye when we got them as calves. They grew up and now when we pull some meat out of the freeze sit down for a home grown meal we say Man T-Bone sure is good,

Would have chickens but in the city limits and can't have them.

Perhaps he lives in India. They're irrationally against chickens there I guess.

Or not. I used to raise chickens, and if there's any animal that just plain deserves to be eaten, it's chickens.

Which reminds me, part of the project involves me videoing some chickens and the local farmer advised me that they're just about ready to go. Which is bad, because I've got to get over there with a video cam. But it's also good, because I'll have a freezer full of chicken again soon.

:: digression ::

I can't begin to imagine why this piece of pre-1923 art criticism immediately put me in mind of this thread:
Billy Bolaine, born 1868, flourished 1880-2. No. 3. Landscape,
with horse, ducks and figures. Silvery effect of about eight o'clock
in the morning anywhere. The animals have given rise to some
discussion, but the general impression seems to be that the artist,
who never depicted anything without a subtle meaning, originally
intended at least one of them for a cow.

I didn't know any farmers that had pigs.

But actually, now that I think about it, that's not true.
