You probably won't find this interesting unless you truly enjoy eggs.
I've always liked eggs -fried over easy, soft or hard boiled, omelets, and scrambled. I am also a fan of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe character and the detective novel series, along with the tv series that appeared on PBS several years ago.
As anyone who has read the novels would know, Nero Wolfe was a gourmand extrordinaire. From time to time, recipes and/or cooking instructions would be included in the stories as background dialog.
One of these, for scrambled eggs, is by all definitions, unique. The primary departure from your regular scrambled egg recipe is timing: Nero cooks them over a very gentle burner for about 50 minutes. Always stirring, very, very gently.
Past experience with Wolfe recipes has rewarded me with excellent departures from the norm; sweet corn and home made white bread have been favorites.
So I had to try this one. I could only make it to 30 minutes on my electric stove before they were done. Wouldn't do this every time, but I was really curious.
It's true. You've never tasted scrambled eggs like this before. Creamy and soft. High flavor.
Thought I'd just pass it on for anyone with about an hour of spare time and a taste for great eggs.
