Are you guilty of Rank Rage?

Do not read out allowed, if you suffer from a lisp!

Hi all

This one came through today LOL

"DEFINITION:

Rank Rage can be defined as aggressive marketing that circumvents common and prevalent Search Engine requirements in order to gain an advantage in the Search Engine ranking process...

...While Rank Rage takes many forms it typically includes the following techniques:

Cloaking
Hidden Text
Nearly Invisible Text
Doorway Pages
Plagiarized Text
Link Farms or Link Schemes..."

I read it as well...

"Cloaking, Hidden Text, Nearly Invisible Text, Doorway Pages, Plagiarized Text, Link Farms or Link Schemes..."

But didn't see anything new that constituted the need for a new term.

Hi Fathom

Nope but I just loved the terminology, it reminded me of some freelance work I used to do, Rank Strand were one of the main sponsors. The contact we had was a lovely bloke called Ronald Richardson, who unfortunately would always call up saying "it's Ronald Richardson from Rank -- unfortunately he had a bad lisp :)
