I am unable to get DSL or Cable Modem, even though I live in the middle of a large city. It seems my phone lines and cable lines don't qualify.

So, I was wondering if anyone out there is using a Satellite internet connection?

I have heard that DirePC isn't too good. Anyone have some good suggestions?

Well I may be relocating to Belize - or at least for part of the year. Its cold in the winter where I live. But its in Central America not South.

Why not - I work alone out of my home, why shouldn't I place my home in a nice setting. Thats what I love about this job. Total mobility - that is if I can figure out a good connection down there.

Yup, I don't blame you. I work out of my home the same way, and love it. I would be in a tropical place also, except we have kids in school.

We gave home-schooling a try for a little while so we could possibly go to some warm places and work, but the home-schooling didn't work out too good. So, I guess I'll just have to wait about 11 more years for my kids to be out of school.

Have fun down there, I'm really jealous!
