Cant host this today as I'm not going to be around all day .otherwise willingly ..Saturday may not be the best day for this sort of thing ..it means the host is tied to being near their machine to answer for maybe hours..and with time zone diffs that can mean all evening and until the next morning.. eg I'm typing this at 14.46 on Saturday April 30 ..Paris France time.
Saturday and Sunday are family days for most of us ..even those of us who work from home for ourselves.
We only look in sporadically at weekends ..

It just so happens that these gizmo's have fallen on a massive bank holiday! I haven't been around to be able to play (very difficult to play on smartphone in a pub :)) and it's difficult as Saturdays are a major commute day for me anyway.
Definitely change to a Monday; then I can play it at work (in between important things :))
I look forward to this next one, and hopefully I can participate properly too.

Consistency in day, time & host is critical to the game working. In its original iteration (Macguru started the thing and hosted it) it was always held Saturday mornings. Then the winner became the host (first weak link) who announced the time as long as it was still Saturday somewhere on the planet (second weak link).
Like I said, consistency in hosting and when it is held is the key.

Ack, I was out of town and mia the weekend before that. Saturdays aren't what they used to be, or something. Weekday would be good, like the Wednesday suggestion.
