My wife and I celebrated 40 years of marriage on Sunday and she bought me a top of the range kindle as a present.

Anyone else using one and if so any tips?

I gave my kindle to one of my kids. I found it too hard to dog ear the pages.

I hope yours works out better for you.

Congrats on being married so long. What is your advice to the rest of us?

40 years of marriage! You were already married when I wasn't even planned yet by my parents. And I thought I was getting old. Congrats.

As tips for the ebook readers go: Good for novels and short stories, no good for reference books, textbooks, guidebooks or manuals, IMHO.

Don't talk to each other too much. You'll just fall out. ;)

Congrats on the 40th anniversary, BeeDeeDubbleU!

I've seen Kindle and it's amazing how it makes the writing look so unreal. I mean, so unlike an electronic display.

Good luck with your new piece of hardware, and come back in due course and let us know how you got on.
