Hackers Turn To The Phone By Posing As Microsoft Employees [v3.co.uk]
Security experts are warning computer users to be on their guard after reports of telephone scammers pretending to be Microsoft support staff, and attempting to hijack PCs to sell fake security products.

I've had such a call (in fact, at least three), and I could see how the unwary could be caught out.

I've been getting a rash of spam/scam calls but just on my cell phone.

I was amazed cell phones don't have an easy way to block an inbound caller, had to put the idiots in my contact list and route them direct to vmail was the only way I could find to eliminate the vermin.

I'll bet if I look there's an app for that ;)
