So I emailed a linux consultant asking for a quote last week. No response. So I called and left a message with my toll free number. No response.

What, now people don't need the business?

It may just be me, but I'm noticing a general "lack" of customer acknowledgement and just plain "no work ethic" across most of the board...

There seems to be a general attitude from most companies that they are doing you a favor by simply picking up the phone if you call. I don't see the situation getting any better in the future.

Hope I'm wrong...

Trusting a firm or a person is about more than competence. It's difficult to trust them if you don't see them as caring.

i've noticed work ethic has gone out the window as well as pride in work.

I feel like im some dying breed. Most people that i've done work for are blown away that I actually know what im doing and do it the RIGHT WAY and knock it out in short order.

I also only keep like minded contacts.

its werid out there :-(

Today's rant. I called a competitor last week to let him know his site had been hacked. His reaction was mild surprise.

A week later, not only is it not fixed, but it's hacked worse than ever.

Why did I bother?
