Thats Amazing, the word dude sounds stupid anyways ;) (granted i say it myself) but sounds even more fun when a drug fiend gets busted ;P I wonder who spilled the beans saying he was the dell dude busted ;)

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a cop, actually. I mean, the guy is pretty much recognizable -- I'd expect there was a lot of joking and talk about it back at the 7th Precinct, and somebody decided to make a call...

Anyway, it's a pretty minor thing, there'll be no "cell," not even a fine apparently, and not even a court record as long as he doesn't get caught again.

I don't know about other places, but in NYC it's a pretty routine "C" summons. Any cop in the city can write one pretty much any time he wants to -- it's not too difficult to find someone with "marijuana burning or open in public view."
