Apparently, Sir Tim Berners-Lee established the first web site and browser at CERN in December 1990. I wonder how it must have felt at that time, and whether the vision would have been of what we have today.

As a mark of the anniversary of this achievement the web will close for 24 hours on that day so that all the undeleted and lost files can be tidied up:)
