So i picked up a little 26" flat screen the other day. Vizio VW26L i believe.
Sound and picture are great. A little vibration from the TV speakers if i turn it up too much... no biggie, and some slight glare with the sun is blasting through the windows... kind of typical with any TV i have found, LCD or old CRT.
SO, there is a PC audio jack in the back... you know that off pea green colored port. I have a nice set of pc speakers, two mids, and one bass. works great on my laptop, and stand alone PC, also works on this little 13" color TV i have. Plug it right into the headphones jack, and speakers work fine...
So i know its not my speakers.
But when i plug this into my new Vizio, the audio continues to come out of the TV, doesnt even try to spit it out of the PC speakers...
Now, there is also an RGB input in the back, next to the PC audio jack...
Do i have a bad PC speaker input, or does the RGB have to be plugged in also to "activate" that audio port?
Anyone?
I havent been able to try the RGB cable, becuase i have a dell and their RGB cable is propriatary and doesnt fit right.
