How much hands on should a local gov't provide in the way of internet infrastructure? i.e should a rural county gov't seek to put fibre out to everyone in the county? Or is that a private enterprise job?
Has anyone seen small gov'ts get involved in this, successfully or not?
Other thoughts on how this can drive business/economy?
