I loved this short dramatic version, it is so well edited.

I think it is only still funny because we remember the gags when we hear the lead in line e.g. when she switches on the automatic pilot.

If you had never seen the movie it would seem to be an authentic drama.

Hmmm... If Paramount Pictures had done this themselves and uploaded it to YouTube in order to spur more sales of the video they would have been hailed as geniuses of viral marketing.

Yeah, they just don't get it do they? They could have reached another whole generation of movie watchers. It is one of the clasics.
