Most of us spend tremendous time in front of the monitor.

I wonder about anyone's experience involving spine misalignment, especially so called atlas bone (first vertebrae - C1).

I came across stories full of bunch of symptoms being taken care (fully or partially) by fixing this bone.

Treatments I came across are like NUCCA procedure or something called Atlas Orthogonal (some machine).

Any experience?

Thanks

presently recovering from substantial problem with L5S1 - but it didn't have anything to do with using a computer.

for me, this is all the way at the other end of the spine!

For you - and others:

- other issues (neck issues etc) seem to be best treated by regular physical exercise, stretching, and the occasional physical therapy.

- get a good chair...

- have a chiropractor come to your office and assess how your chair and computer are laid out and come up with something that works better.

- watch out for carpal tunnel / tennis elbow type issues that can actually aggravate other issues in the neck and spine.

- get a good health plan

- get a good disability plan (just in case!)

- work to reduce stress

GOOD LUCK!
