Went onto a site earlier and heard a high speed clicking noise, a little like a hard drive access. I started to get worried thinking something bad was going down. Clicked back and it stopped. Revisited and it started again.

What are they doing to my PC man!

Moved my head down to my machine and noticed that the sound was actually coming from my headphones. Doh! They had a wav file of techno music playing.

Ever done anything like that, I bet some of you have :)

My first Geocities site had (and still has) James Bond wav file in infinite loop ;)

Do you mean like phoning the manufacturer of my monitor complaining about how naff the picture quality was and the guy over the phone asked if any speakers were next to it, once I moved them it was fine :)

Done that too. Only mine was a brand new plasma tv (with a greenish tint on the bottom) due to the power amp.
