If you ever wondered how fast Twitter is growing, I'd say this is a sign. You can now have a tee shirt that embeds your Twitter stream's QR code, so others can check it out with their smartphone - right from your own chest. [twitip.com...]

This isn't limited to just your Twitter stream, though -- Any URL can be QR'ed, along with additional microformat info, such as physical address, phone number, etc.

In addition to T-shirts, billboards, and other signage, I also recommend QR codes for use on your non-mobile "Contact us" Web page in order to allow viewers to load your mobile site URL and contact info into their QR-capable mobile device's address book right off the screen with just a few clicks.

Hi all,

Am I the only person to find this a bit too much, I'm all in favour of twitter and the idea is great, but a T-Shirt with your ID on is just OTT; either that or I have totally missed the point.

Cheers,
