We've all been here before. Work is stressing you out, things aren't going the way they were planned. Where can you find solitude? The Pub.

But unfortunately with that one big night of highs, you have to deal with the lows of the day after.

How does everyone deal with work the day after? What can we do to help us get through a day of work with a hangover?

Alcohol depletes the body of magnesium and many of the symptoms of a hangover (sensititivy to noise, headaches, sensitivity to odors, sensitivity to bright lights) are identical to the symptoms that occur when people are magnesium deficient.

Coconut has magnesium, so do most green vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, hard water, bone meal, wheat germ, and whole grains. Factors that deplete magnesium, besides alcohol, include caffeine, salt and antibiotics.

I don't get hangovers :) and considering I only weigh 140lbs and am not a cheap drunk :( it's amazing.

But if you think about it, we all know what "breaking the seal" refers too. So if more comes out than goes in you'll need to replenish.

So drink water while boozing it up, and/or have a few large glasses of water before you go to bed. You'll feel better in the morning...then drink more water.
