A little tiny shoe thread in needs to be fixed.
Right on the spot while I was waiting, I heard his sawing machine going on for a few sec.
It came to $5.
of course no check or cdt card.

Hmmm, he's a big winner. KUDOS :)

But we are making money while we are sleeping. Don't know which job I would prefer :)

Shoe repair is a business that has done well in the recession.

Epecially bag, purse, and leather products. You stopped in to a Coach store lately and looked at some of those price tags? It is nothing for an avg purse to go for $500 to a $1000 dollars. People will easily spent a few bucks to get that kind of investment fixed.

The kind of work you got done, cost 10 cents max in India.

Just to put things in perspective. And the poor cobler would be working in 40Degrees Celcius ( 104 F) in the shade.

So I am happy with the work I do.

Hope, that my message is not taken "as is"
it's more in the "tongue in cheek" mode.

Happy 4th!
