Google mentions in their "Information for Webmasters" that they too often receive spam:

"Dear google.com,
I visited your website and noticed that you are not listed in most of the major search engines and directories..."

I recieve a few of these a week and read all (normally junk mail gets trashed immediately) but I make an exception here.

I am particularly fond of the ones which screen capture a small version of clients mainpages.

... I always reply with an official document produced by my lawyer, noting that the imagery they are using to solicit business is copyrighted.

As I have no record for permission to use said copyright information, I will seek their services but request 100% royalties until such time as permission has been granted.

I have yet to get another email from the same company.

Strange though... I thought I ask for their services?
