So I just updated a company's intranet, they wanted to add a thing where employees have to digitally agree to the company code of conduct.

About once a year they want to update the code and have employees agree each time new terms are posted.

I set it all up and tested it and got it all working. I submitted it for review before launch and all I got was 1 single comment.

"You named the button 'Submit', an interesting choice of words, please change it."

I had to really think about this for a minute before I realized these employees are being forced to agree to a code of conduct and having them "submit" to it was a pretty bad choice of button label I have to admit.

Never thought about it before after having creating millions of buttons labeled submit

Create three buttons, "I accept", "I quit" and "I'm going to join a union". You could also add a fourth button that says "I've read my employment contract - I suggest you print these terms on a suppository and then use it".
