I just wanted to take this opportunity to predict the future.

Tiger Woods will NOT win the PGATour Money Title.

I don't say this because of recent events (mainly Ernies back to back victories) but rather because I think the rest of the PGA has finally stepped up to Tiger.

Actually, I like Retief Goosens chances. Perhaps Charles Howell.

Anyone agree? disagree?

Since Sergio has figured out that he doesn't need 1 minute 30 seconds just to address the ball, he has started to play better golf. I think it will be his year.

I would give Tiger a 50/50 chance at the money title this year. He is still the best golfer in the world but I think he doesn't really care about the money title. He wants the majors. He doesn't play in as many events as most of the other top golfers so he has to make his money in fewer tournaments. Ernie has a big jump on everybody (already over $1.8 mil) and he will probably win at least another 2 or 3 tourneys this year. Still, until someone proves otherwise Tiger is still the man (although I want to see Mickelson crush him head to head at a major this year).

Perhaps Phil can lose that monkey. It would be fantastic to see him win the US Open.

Has anyone seen the new "plot course" (I forget what they are calling it) video effect they are experimenting with on the Golf channel? It lays almost a transparent grid down over the green when someone putts and you can see the lay of the green better. pretty cool effect but it takes 'matrix like' setup time.
