I once spent a couple nights at a hotel in Akron that was originally a complex of grain silos. All the rooms were round.

There's a place in central Cali that uses huge wine barrels converted to cabins . . . not sure what the real name for them is, but visualize a wood keg the size of a small cabin with a conical roof on it. It was pretty cool and didn't smell like vinegar. :-)

I stayed in a hotel room near Cappadocia, Turkey that was a cave. Still had the original carved walls.
