Turns out, I can get my 1098 interest/taxes info on my mortgage from the lender's website, look up last year's Alaska PFD payment online (already filed for next year's PFD -- you guessed it -- online), find the taxes paid on my second property by looking up my checking account records online, and -- of course -- go file all my taxes online.
So, in about two weeks, cash will magically appear in my savings account...
All without handling any paper except my W2. :)
Huh? Cash back? What's that?
We pay full whack on our igloos.
I think the point I was really trying to make is how darn neat it is to be able to handle almost all your finances online. I hate having to shuffle paperwork and do my own math... hehehe.
(Really, for anyone feeling jealous of my refund, stickymail me and I'll tell you what my annual gross income and/or health insurance premiums were. You won't feel jealous anymore, I promise.)
