I want to Watch Hulu on the TV in My LIving Room

Cheapest Way to Do it?

Family room - Internet and TV cable connections, Xbox 360, PC, TV, wireless router.

Living Room - About 20 feet away from family room. Has TV, Wii, Roku, cable TV connection.

I want to be able to watch movies from hulu.com on the TV in the living room.

Can I do it somehow with the devices and connections I have? If not, what would be the cheapest way to do it? Any suggestions? I don't want to string any cables from one room to the next, at least not over the floor.

Signal out from the cable modem to a laptop with HDMI, and HDMI cable to TV. Sounds like you would need to run one wire thru walls to get cable modem out to the laptop. My experience with wireless router was less than stellar - too much interference here from office phone system, TV, chickenwire in walls... you might get better results with wireless signal.

No one really uses the Wii so I don't know what it does. My kids just like xBox. I don't think our Wii is hooked up to any internet connection right now.

I was reading another forum today and found out that some software called Playon on the family room PC should let me beam hulu over to the living room tv using the wireless router and the Wii. If anybody has tried this I'd appreciate any comments.

Yes you can, and you can connect the TV to WII with HDMI or standard AV ports (yellow/white/red).
