md5 problem

hello,

"Base ISO (md5) - Host Installation Program"

this is a suppose to be a link for an installation cd..
i downloaded the file, but it doesnt seem to work..
i tried clicking the md5 link, and this message poped-up..
"66362e135783cba01e63a6c239fff8eb main.iso"

so do i have to decrypt the file after i downloaded it?

please help me, tnx..

This isn't a PHP issue, or a web development.

If you ever see 'md5' next to a download, it is for file verification to make sure it is valid and downloaded without any corruptions.

You can run a file through the md5() hash function and get an md5 hash. They provide you with their md5 hash, and if yours matches, the file downloaded OK.

If you're having a problem with your download, I would contact the website in question.
