I agree with many of them. I'm no enthusiast, but I hate mediocrity in most of those cars.

Some of the cars don't deserve to be on the list, they're unique because they're such eyesores.

What's not right to be on there are the new beetle (it started a new segment), the enzo, the delorean, the SSR, the PT cruiser, the prowler, and perhaps a few more: they are unique, trend settings, inimitable. And some comments they had like the silly bumpers on the US version of the prowler are not because the designer liked them, but only for making the car road legal.

Some of those vehicles truly are ugly. More than a few did not deserve the recognition they got. In the end, it appears the list is compiled by those who have a need to create lists, and trying to find 50 ugly cars might have been rushed by a deadline.

All in all, as stated by the OP, I enjoyed.

Agree with swa66 Not sure about the Enzo being there? From a photo it doesn't stand out, but in the flesh it gives a whole new meaning to wow.

Not sure about the H2 either, it looks the way it does for a reason, and does what it does well. Hate to say it but I like the design of the H2. H1 on the other hand?

I had the "pleisure" of driving one when I was working in a garage. It cornered line a cruise liner, stopped like an oil tanker and had a clutch pedal so high you had to raise your leg to depress it!

How come I have a feeling that the writer of the article looked for a list of ugly cars and only found one that went up to 35. He then randomly added the rest.
