If you remember 12/31/1999, or 31/12/1999 to some of us, then just watch out for 22/12/2012 or 12/22/2012 depending on how you see things. That's a whole new cup of tea.

1999-12-31, but that's a whole other story. It's interesting that most of the websites dealing with Y2K issues have long since closed down. There's little to refer to now.
Come 2038 and the Unix rollover, the events of 1999 will have been completely forgotten and nothing at all learned from it.
