From the other end of the equation it would be so nice for developers to get feedback. So often the communication lines are broken.

I made an unforgiveable mistake on Friday when I was clearing up unused databases used for development testing. Today I found out that I'd left in a bit of code on a live site that was only accessible by people trying to give me money - it was set to die if a database (that the code didn't use) were to cease to exist.

I didn't find out directly.

The lines of communication will be broken unless there are procedures in place to make sure they aren't. I'm sure that's the same for support as well as for idiot coders like me.
