Personal search and privacy should be an option for people that have something to protect. If your ISP has a record of everything you do, why should Google?

I'll let you into a secret: I have something to hide, and it's from Mrs engine. I don't want her to get any idea about her Christmas present. According to Mr Schmidt, I shouldn't be doing it. OK, so, when Mrs engine doesn't get her present on Christmas day, I'll just point her to Mr Schmidt's quote.

The question is, will I survive! ;)

Google should start an online confession box. Google users can then confess to their sins and get absolved by G. Slowly, someday we will all have nothing to hide from the almighty Google.

I block everything that G wants to put on my machine and everything that comes via 3rd party sites and that's related to G

I got a phone call from GrandBlend27 the other day, telling me how to make sure that Gugle(heavy southern .RU Accent) does not track what we do on the net. He is almost 90. I asked him how the #%^# he knew about Gorg. He said his neighbor mentioned it.

It's out there.
