What department in Google is best to contact for a research project?

Wasn't sure where to post this.

Any suggestions as to what department in Google might be best to contact for information regarding a Masters/Phd level research project? Do they have an section dealing with educational enquiries?

It is not really technical subject and would probably deal more with the marketing/cultural/community aspects of Google (yes I know, it's vague).
