alarm goes off at 6:30, i snooze until 6:50.
breakfast: oatmeal, raisins brown sugar.
bran muffin, 3 pats of margarine.
chai tea.
lunch: broccoli cheese rise, chicken apple sausage 2 bite size snickers candy. green tea
and its 2:30pm and im freaking exhausted... i could literally close my eyes and be OUT in a flat second.
my head is bobbing all over the place and my eyes are heavy.
my food intake was good... no major sources of caffine.
i think my sleep is good...
this happens quite a bit, whats wrong?
Your hertz setting may also need checking. If its low it makes your eyes do a lot of the work.
Mack.
BTW chai and tea are the exact same thing ..just different words for tea in different languages ..
BTW2 ..your diet looks like crap ..not surprised you feel tired ..get a blood analysis done ( like BDW hinted ) before you do yourself some long term harm ..and ask your doctor to explain what long sugars are and why they are better than short ones ..and what a vitamin is etc etc ( and why the ones you take in pill form are useless to your organism ) ..you may also be depressed ..get tested ..stop asking strangers in geek fora ..

'Chai tea' refers, I believe, to the traditional herby, spicy infusion that's part Christmas in smell and part disgusting in taste.
It is sold extensively and expensively these days in the ubiquitous coffee shops du jour. Each to their own, of course :-)
as Syzygy says they are not. Chai tea has Black Tea, Chicory Root, Cardamom, Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cloves and NO SUGAR.
green tea is green tea leaf.
i dont know what just "tea" is made of.....Tea leaves?
and how in the heck is my diet crap?
i thought i was doing good.
oatmeal, bran muffin, green tea?
better than a mcdonalds egg mcmuffin hashbrowns and coffee...
chicken apple sausage 2 bite size snickers candypart qualifies as crap. :)
I know that I have been lagging in the afternoons the past month or so. I think it's mainly because I haven't been getting my lunch bike ride in. Sort of a Catch-22: no energy to ride, no riding results in less energy...
maybe you require a vacation, were you dont have access to internet for atleast 48 hours (try this for sure)
Chai sounds Indian or hindi isn't it like adopted from Indian languages ?
[en.wikipedia.org...]
not starbucks yuppy modern speak where chai means adulterated muck ..unless they also add the word masala ..in which case the meaning gets changed due the masala meaning mixture ( doesnt translate exactly but that is the gist of the word ) ..
example "masala chai" ..means "mixture tea" ..
as in "garam masala" means "mixed spices" ..and there are many many kinds of garam masala ..each to their own mix ..
your diet ..
you eat refined sugar ( proven carcinogen ) ( brown is not the same as "raw" ..brown means coloured white sugar ..ie dyed brown ..to fool ya ) at every sitting to start with ..
plus what sugar is probably already mixed into your muffin ..and what refined sugar is no doubt mixed into "broccoli cheese rise, chicken apple sausage 2 bite size snickers candy"..or did you make all these "delicious" items with your own fair hands ..and grow your own tea ..thought not ;)
BTW black tea is just fermented and treated green tea same general species ..one tastes bitter ..the other is flavour softened by fermentation and treating ..
I'll leave you to your own expert dietary advice ..horses and water ..
its Good Earth chai tea bagged tea. not the creamy treat that costs $5 and tastes like a milkshake.
the bran muffin is from my work cafeteria, and it tastes horrible, so i dont think there is much sugar in there.
so, cut back on the sugar. got it.
does excess amounts of sodium cause you to peak and crash like sugar?
maybe the sausage had too much sodium.
bran muffin - Sugar and fats. Most of the calories coming from sugar and fat.
3 pats of margarine. Margarine can contain hydrogenated fats. Check the label. In any case, those are empty calories.
broccoli cheese rise: I don't know what that is, but the cheese adds cholesterol and fats to an otherwise healthy food choice. If you want to add a little fat to broccoli to satisfy your craving for fat, dip it in olive oil, let excess drip off, then bake it in your oven for twenty minutes at around 400 degrees.
chicken apple sausage - Cholesterol and unecessary fats. Most of the calories are coming from fat.
2 bite size snickers candy. Corn syrup, hydrogenated oil... This is highly refined processed product. This is not food, it's a science project.
Aside from the food, do you snore at night? Sleep apnea can rob you of the benefits of sleep. If you snore then go get yourself tested, it's a serious condition that can negatively affect your health.
5'10" 150-155lbs it fluctuates day to day.
Blood pressure 131 over 74
LDL 99
HDL 52
i dont snore, at least i have NEVER been told i do.
HOWEVER... at that point when i feel just when im about to fall asleep, i shake myself awake becuase i feel like im about to stop breathing... and i have to shake my body back to life...
i dont notice it other than at that exact moment.
blood sugar control (FBS) fasting blood sugar: 95
1 hardboiled egg - dash of salt and pepper
cottage cheese - 2% milk - pepper 1 serving

played a game of softball. got home around 9:30pm, had a glass of merlot with my wife, got in bed asleep by 10:15.
HOWEVER... at that point when i feel just when im about to fall asleep, I shake myself awake because I feel like im about to stop breathing... and I have to shake my body back to life...
Now stop posting about it and phone the doc for that check up ..dont bother posting on a medical forum ..they all watch way too much house MD :)
