Seems like I've posted several questions over the past few weeks (months?) that within 24 hours I realized I:

1. already knew the answer if I had only thought about it a bit longer.
2. had already been answered elsewhere on WebmasterWorld.
3. were ridiculously obvious and deserved a dope slap.
4. stirred up a subject that was better off being left alone.

To all - my apologies.

I'm just hoping we don't all have to start apologizing for posts we regret - this could turn into another Google update thread!:)

I apologise for ever finding this Forum.

Imagine what trouble I could be causing with my metatags, keywords and general NOT having a clue.

oh yeah, I may also have had a life.

(added: and along with NOT ever having looked at my Logs for 3 years as a webmaster).

I apologise for going near the Google update thread, but I have a feeling it may happen again in a month's time :o

Wow, someone with the self-awareness to admit that and then have the guts to post it.

I am very impressed.

My first post was a classic url drop in Google which I am not sorry for in the slightest.

If I hadn't have done it, it wouldn't have been edited and I wouldn't have got the nice sticky explaining why. -- An instant respect for the level we are at here!

The effect of that, is what you see now, a hopeless addict, but a 300% better webmaster ;)

5. Giving irrelevant, misunderstood or simply false answers to other members' questions.

You're sure you do not want to add such a point to your list? Then you may consider yourself lucky.
