I call my webhost's NOC.

The NOC guy blames the Unix kernel.

He says "It's a kernel panic. It's rare but it happens."

P.S. It's my birthday. I'm 54. Hard to believe I've made it this far. I even survived the Cuban missile crisis by doing what the teacher told me: "Get under your desk when the alarm sounds and don't look at the flash of light".

Just did a read on kernel panic and it doesn't look good. I hope they get ya back up soon but from the read they go to work inside the server.
